about me

While I was pregnant in 2010 I wanted to find something that would keep me fit and healthy and that would have a positive effect on the baby. This is where my love for yoga was born. I found a teacher who guided me and helped improve my own practice, I was inspired to leave my job as a City Recruitment Consultant and retrain as a Yoga Teacher.

For me, practicing yoga feels right. It keeps me fit and well balanced, emotionally and physically. Through the practice of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow my body feels stronger and more supple, and a calmer mind helps me to deal with the ups and downs of being a Mum.

There is a beautiful philosophy behind yoga that can be applied to our daily lives, and I find that simply being on the mat and practicing the asanas (postures) brings calmness, positivity and energy into my life. Yoga takes you on a journey, and I hope to guide others along this path, whether you want to feel the physical benefits or develop a deeper understanding of this age old practice.

Through my teaching I’d like to inspire others to discover yoga, encourage you to develop your own practice and push past any boundaries you feel you have.

My training
I  hold a Yoga Alliance 200 hour teaching qualification through Yoga London which is recognised internationally.
I have completed the Birthlight SMART Toddler Yoga course.
